An OpenAthens Account gives you remote access to our subscribed databases, e-journals, and e-books. Access our resources from anywhere at any time.
Enter your OpenAthens username and password before accessing our resources from offsite, or when prompted, to view the full text of journal articles or eBooks.
You are registered initially for one year. Your account can be renewed and will remain valid as long as you are affiliated with or an employee of Huntington Hospital.
The user interface for OpenAthens has changed. The resource list is no longer available when you log into the platform.
Use Ovid Discovery to search our entire library of resources in one go. Click on the green Ovid Discovery button to start. Since you are already logged into your OpenAthens account you can connect to the available full-text resources automatically when you click on a reference from the search results list. Your OpenAthens login credentials are saved in your browser cookies.
Log in to a resource's website directly using your OpenAthens login from the sign-in area. Look for the sign-in via the OpenAthens/Athens/MyAthens option.

​Use OpenAthens to create your BrowZine account to browse, read and follow top clinical journals from a mobile device. Download the BrowZine app, choose Library > Huntington Hospital > enter your OpenAthens username and password. To create a personal account, which will allow you to save articles, tap on MyBookshelf and follow the on-screen instructions to sign up for a personal account (username & password can be the same as or different from your OpenAthens).
