Getting Started 

• Before accessing OpenAthens using the steps below, please make sure to activate your account. 

• After signing up for an account with the library, you should receive an activation email from OpenAthens. Follow the steps in the email.

• If you do not receive an activation email, check your junk/spam folder or contact the library for help.

Logging In From the OpenAthens Main Page

1. Visit https://www.openathens.net/ and click on the button at the top right of the page.

2. Select "Login to MyAthens" from the top of the list:

3. Click on the option to "Sign in with an OpenAthens account" at the bottom of the screen:

4. Enter the username/email address and password associated with your OpenAthens account:

5. From your account main page, click on the green "Go to HH Library!" to search all of our library resources from our library homepage:

Log In Tips

We always encourage you to access library-subscribed resources through our library website:

https://hh-library.org

This will activate the single-sign on feature, ensuring that you do not have to sign-in to view subscribed resources multiple times.
