To create a more secure and seamless browsing experience, the Huntington Health Library has updated our access procedure for offsite users.

Now, you will no longer see an OpenAthens login page when accessing the library from offsite. Instead, you will automatically be redirected to your regular Cedars-Sinai Universal Login. 

Whom will this affect?

Onsite users (within the hospital network's WiFi) will experience no change.

Login is not required.

Offsite users will be prompted to login using their Cedars-Sinai Universal Login username and password.

What if I don't have a Cedars-Sinai Universal Login Username/Password?

• You can still login to library resources using your OpenAthens username and password.
  • Go to https://my.openathens.net/ and sign in with your OpenAthens username and password
  • From your main account page, click the "Go to HH Library!" button

How do I sign-up for an OpenAthens Account?

• Please email your request to: library@huntingtonhealth.org
• Keep in mind that library resources are licensed for Huntington Health staff (and those with current medical privileges at the hopsital) only. Verification with our HR department may be necessary in order to process your request. 

How often will I have to login?

• If you are already signed in to the CS portal, you will not have to sign in again.
• Additionally, you will be able to find the Huntington Health Library in the CS portal. Just look for the Huntington Health Library icon for direct access.
