Virtual Private Network (VPN)

A VPN is a way of connecting to the internet that helps to protect your privacy and online security by encrypting all of your communications and hiding your IP address from the websites that you visit. Mobile App Privacy

Review your phone's privacy settings to protect your privacy when using health care apps or mobile online resources.

Restrict the app's ability to track you after downloading an app. 

  • iPhone: Settings > Privacy > Tracking > Allow Apps to Request to Track and select off 

  • Android: Settings > Privacy > Ads > select "Opt out or delete advertising ID"
